  • Easy Barbecue Pork

Easy Barbecue Pork with out staying up all night to cook it. Place 3 or 4 pound pork roast (any cut), or pork loin in a crock pot and add water to almost cover the meat.  Cook on high until meat falls off bone or easily tears loose.  Remove from the crock pot and put in a roasting pan.  With a fork tear the meat into small pieces.  Build a fire on your grill either gas or charcoal.  Put meat on a vegetable grill rack and place over the fire to dry the meat.  Use your favorite green or watersoaked wood  to create smoke under the meat.  I like pecan or hickory sticks for an authentic southern barbecue flavor. Toss the meat on the rack until it is no longer wet.  Remove and place back in the roasting pan and add Patterson's Old Fashioned Mopping Sauce mixing in until the meat has been covered.  Serve on plate or in a bun with a dill pickle and you'll think it slow cooked all night.

  • Chicken Breasts

Marinate split bone-in chicken breasts in white vinegar in a zip lock while the charcoals are heating up.  After the coals turn white, place the breasts skin side down on the grill. Close lid on the grill and let slow cook for about half the cooking time depending on the size.  Flip the chicken breasts and paint on Patterson's Old Fashioned Mopping Sauce covering completely.  Close the lid on the grill and cook almost to finish, flip again and paint sauce on the rest of the meat.  Heat until sauce is no longer wet.  Remove from the grill and let rest in a covered sauce pan for five or more minutes. Serve whole or cut meat off the bone for salad.
